Andrew Pegler is a leading plain English editor and writer. He wrote speeches for former Victorian Premier John Brumby and Housing Minister Richard Wynne. He edited Monash Business Review for three years and wrote and taught an advertising course at Monash University’s Caulfield campus over four years. He has written opinion for The Age newspaper in Melbourne and is creator and writer of the satirical journal The Bugle. He has written two books—John Howard’s Little Book of Truths (2004) and The Bugle’s Dicktionary (2005). He sometimes co-hosts ‘The Conversation Hour’ on 774 ABC radio in Melbourne and presented a ‘look at the papers’ segment on ABC TV’s News Breakfast. He writes and presents the satirical Bugle Network News bulletin on RRR FM.
